One of the best street festivals in the city, and my personal favorite, the 10^th annual Renegade Craft Fair is back again on Saturday, Sept. 8^th and Sunday, Sept. 9^th from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. along Division Street in Wicker Park. About 300 indie craft vendors will line the streets alongside food vendors, crafting workshops, a free photo booth, and new this year, The Vintage Bazaar, which will set up at Division and Wolcott with furniture, home accents, clothing, and jewelry.

The Hinsdale Merchants Garage Sale runs Saturday, Sept. 8th from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Hinsdale Public Works Garage (19 E. Chicago Ave., Hinsdale), where more than 20 local shops offer deals on new merchandise, including designer kid’s store My Sister Kate which offers up to 70 percent off clothes and toys with $10, $15 and $20 racks.

Once Upon a Child (1600 16^th St., Oak Brook, 630-468-2330) hosts a Coat Kick-off Tent Event featuring gently used winter gear (coats, boots, snow pants, scarves, gloves, etc.) on September 7^th through 9^th.

Celebrate National Teddy Bear Day on Sunday, Sept. 9^th from 10 a.m. to noon at Building Blocks Toys (2130 W. Divison St., Chicago, 773-235-1888) and get a professional photo with your kiddo and his or her teddy. Receive a free set of wallet prints if you donate a new teddy bear or make a minimum purchase of $35 at the store. Register in advance at info@buildingblockstoys.com; walk ins also welcome.

Consignment sales this weekend

The Lots for Tots Consignments sale runs Friday, Sept. 7^th from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday Sept. 8th from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and the half-price sale on Sunday, Sept. 9th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Libertyville Sports Complex (1950 N. Hwy. 45, Libertyville). Admission is free; cash, Visa, Mastercard, and Discover accepted.

Highland Park’s Three Church Rummage Sale, chock-a-block with clothes, toys, and other household goods runs Friday, Sept. 7^th from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 8^th from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Trinity Episcopal (425 Laurel Ave., Highland Park), Immaculate Conception (770 Deerfield Rd., Highland Park), and Highland Park Presbyterian Church (330 Laurel Ave., Highland Park).

The Step by Step PTA resale runs Saturday, Sept. 8^th from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.; half-price sale starts at 11:30 a.m. at the DuPage County Fairgrounds (2015 Manchester Rd., Wheaton). Admission is free.
