I’m not quite sure what’s going on at Strasburg Children (1911 Tower Rd., Glenview, 847-724-6078), and numerous phone calls haven’t cleared it up. But whether they are reorganizing or on the verge of closing or about to disappear into Narnia, the fact remains that they are offering up to 75 percent off everything in the store, both on the fancy Strasburg line and the more casual FG4 line. When I went earlier this year, I scored a huge deal on an adorable wool coat (marked down from $186 to $15.99), so it’s worth stopping by.
